I synthesized gold nanocluster with reduced GSH.

And want to binding DNA with SH group.

Gold nanoparticle in other references was bound aptamer (DNA) in TCEP buffer, and then use citrate-HCL or NaCl solution.

I wonder why this buffer used especially salt buffer.

And can I use this method in my gold nanocluster?
