What are your recommendations of mounting oil for cancer cell staining , I am looking to stain microtubules and actin in slides then imaging under confocal microscope ? I am using oil immersion for lens . which type of mounting oil compatible with lens 60 and oil immersion ? I think some of mounting oil interfere with oil immersion , your recommendations please ?

Immersion oil is usually sold by the microscope company of your microscope. It has nothing to do with samples and everything with lenses. Look which company produced your lenses and use the oil for these lenses (such as "olympus lenses - olympus oil")
