I heard that this Flow cytometer may do absolute cell counts atnd acquire up to 13 fluorescent colors with 5 lasers, but also that its software does not offer the calculation of the color compensation via an algorithm (IMHO it is a very bad idea to compensate manually 6+ colors).
Then again, I have no direct experience with this machine. Any comments by people who used it? How does it compare to multiparametric BD machines (e.g. LSR2 or Fortesa)?

We don't have the machine with 5 lasers, but it has 2 lasers, and can 4 fluorescence colors. But personally my experience is not good. It does not give a good profile of cell cycle, as if you compare with BD machine, and also the control of cell count is also not sensitive... it takes time to fix the number of cells you are counting per second. and ofcourse the software is not at all good. You can not get mean intensity data and all, also you can not overlap the many treatment results in the same figure.... in addition to what you pointed at.
