Sometimes,
some moments are pains in the teaching.
@When a teacher works in the managerial pressure by the institution authority
@ When teacher in a dirty doomed conspiracy
@Students with other motivation other than education like hang-out , drug addictions , gunning, etc.
@ Irritating by the political personalities
@Humiliation by the unauthorized people or people without academic sense !
The economic tendency towards 'learning factories' can kill the creative artistry of the teacher. The basic level of learning (professional and scientific) facts can be e-programmed for necessary regurgitation; once this 'hell' has been succesfully passed, the learning assembly line and planned curriculum machinery should be left to make room for creative thinking and free inquiry.
Teaching is divine as the Creator and His Prophets all described . But teaching is painful when there is a slavery comes like the followings:
* Work under uneducated people
* Target teaching with mental pressure
* Teaching with insulting
* Teaching the non motivating students who already have gone to dog
* Teaching without logistic support.
Not having all faculty members in a department apply the same standards, seriousness and dedication that teaching requires.

Don't forget that teachers teach also values by their conduct and integrity. I always consider a challenge or bad situations as opportunities to be the light for the students. Many of them are lost in material worlds and need guidance to filter the good from the bad and shine.

Yes , I do. Now education is the industry and the rich people without real motivation of education are doing simply the business of brain and pain ! Now , quality hanker after money ! Education very simple and easy for a rich !! Whereas , in the yesteryears it was out of imaginations.
See now, in some cases in the private institutions teaching is simply education slavery !! I am afraid !!!!
I think pain is a part of every profession, and there is no gain without pain in any profession.
Varicose veins in the feet because it stays up all day. Pain in the eyes and back because he prepares his course and corrects exams. Pain in the heart because the students could not understand his course. Moral pain because colleagues do not want to see its success. Pain in the pocket because the salary is not enough. Pain in the family because most of his time is consecrated to his work (course, course preparation, exam correction, research, ... etc).

Thanks for the answer ! Mental pains are injurious for brain ! It kills a teacher . Teaching is not a service, job or profession . Its a religion ! The great religion for the humanity.

All jobs have some problems and the kind of these problems depends on the surrounding society. The teaching is not simple job and the teacher must have distinguished features and potentials to be a successed teacher, and most teachers that I know proud and enjoyed in their job.

The problem of encountering lazy students who won't help themselves to be attentive
The most difficult and painful moment is when one of the students resigns from further education. Often for family or personal reasons. I try to talk with such a student to help him, but there are very difficult cases.
Pains or challenges? I think most can be overcome but I'll agree with several people that lazy students are among the biggest challenges I face in the classroom. Despite our very best efforts at supplying water, there's still no way to make them drink... but we can always be creative to try new ways. :-)
I think when you find your students are excelling this removes any pain

As per my experience, the most painful thing in teaching is trying your best with your students; yet, there are some students who don't appreciate you efforts and do not put any effort into learning.
