Construction waste is a big problem in these days. If we can use new updated technologies for minimizing and controlling construction waste, it will be a better beginning for construction field in the future.
Construction waste primarily consists of cement slurry water and plastering debris.

Segregation of wastes at source would result in a drastic minimization of construction waste problem. Once you segregate u can clearly opt for correct technology to reuse the materials either in construction field or other areas. If it is being used in same construction u can reduce the embodied energy and claim for Green Building Certification also.

Well, there are lots of research works going on in this field. There are several ways for C&D waste management but the most widely used method is crushing the materials (mainly concrete debris) and sieving. The fine dust and the semi fine dust is used to make pavement blocks and other stuff which are used for construction. These are also used as partial replacement of cement. The are companies also who produce such items but the demand of such items are low as their price is higher that the virgin ones. Please google for such companies who produce such items and try to visit those companies for further knowledge and experience.
