I am not so familiar with Zotero. I tried using Mendeley 3 years ago & I found it so messy. I stuck to endnote which I think is more superior to Mendeley. So I think you should opt for what you're comfortable with.
Mendeley is great at extracting metadata from PDFs, but it isn't as good at capturing metadata from other sources. The majority of the metadata from webpages will be imported by Zotero, but you may need to add or update components such as publication date and author.
I tried both Mendeley and Endnote, but it depends on your interest. I would say Mendeley is a better option if you don't have a licensed copy of Endnote.
