According to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data (attached PDF file) the following jobs are among the 10 deadliest jobs in USA: 1. Logging workers, 2. Fishers and related fishing workers, 3. Aircraft pilots and flight engineers, 4. Roofers, 5. Refuse and recyclable material collectors, 6. Mining machine operators, 7. Driver/sales workers and truck drivers, 8. Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers, 9. Electrical power-line installers and repairers, 10. Construction laborers.
Their list seems as a joke! Accordingly, military jobs are safe in America? What about firefighters, health care provider, dentists, ...? Many dangerous jobs involve exposure to toxic substances that cause death and disability over time. I don't know how they get their information but it is far from reality.
