HI all,
I am looking for the human derived monocyte/macrophage/DC cell lines that are utilized to demonstrate APC activation capacity of any substance. The markers I want to evaluate are CD80, CD86, MHCII and pro-inflammatory cytokines.
Please share if you have any reference.

I don't know of any DC cell lines. but the macrophage ones most commonly used are U937 and THP-1. They are monocyte cell lines so they will need to be differentiated into macrophages.
They both have certain issues... THP-1 differentiates better (from what I remember...) but U937 proliferate faster. There is also differences in the type of cytokines that they produce after stimulation and what they produce constitutively. It's be a while, so I don't remember too well... so I can't even tell you which cytokine(s). Hopefully, someone else on here can help.
