We are trying to look for potential genetic markers that can be used to diagnose and type different types and grades of gliomas and meningiomas in brain tumor patients. We also have a recurring case of meningioma with the tumor recurring after every year in a slightly different location. What are the possible cytogenetic techniques/markers as well as genetic markers we can look for in cases of tumors (meningiomas and gliomas) in a routine PCR laboratory.
