The different types of collagenase have different ratios of the various enzymes that make up the extract. Collagenase extract have three activities, tryptic, protease and clostripain. Type One has a equal mix of these activities, type B has a higher clostripain activity. For stem cell isolation, the best product will depend on what tissue you are extracting the cells from.

Thank you for your complete answer, well I'm going to Isolate adipose stem cell and I read in articles that for this case I need collagenase Type I, but already we had type B in our lab so I asked to make sure which one is more efficient?
