I have worked with making pellets of HA, but any suggestion on the methodology of seeding powders with cells?
I am intending to do alamar blue. I have come across few with growing cells and then putting the powder, OR putting a known amount powder in a well plate and then seeding the cells on top.

Its better you first select some concentrations then start working. Because hydroxy apetites will not dissolve in medium . So sonicate the solution and and make a uniform dispersion. And make sure that while adding in each well you should mix your sample thoroughly. And when doing alamar blue you should wash the cells with PBS thoroughly like that HA particles should not interfere the reaction.
