I just found and read an interesting piece by Prof. Gerard 't Hooft with title How to become a bad theoretical physicist.

I think i agree with him that we should better be humbler as scientist, and control our tendency to have big ego. Also he wrote that it is better to not start our own publishing house to promote our ideas. 

So, do you agree with 't Hooft on characters of good physicists? What else characters that you think are important to keep in mind? Your comments are welcome.
