Hi everyone!
I cam across term called "locus specific primer". I came across this term in 3C (chromatin conformation capture) method. I tried to google about it but could not understand much. Are you guys aware of the term if yes, in what case should we use locus specific primers? How is it different from normal primers and what are the advantages of using them.

Locus specific primers are just like normal primers. This term used when someone is working on allel determination. Locus specific primer is counter term to the allel specific primer.
