I am at the first stage of learning CFD for my project. But there are various kinds of software.Would you please guide me what the differences are?
1- What are differences between "ANSYS workbench" and "Gambit"?
2- What are differences between "Ansys fluent" and "fluent" and "Ansys CFX"?
Can I install them on Windows 8?

Hi Taher,
Gambit is a meshing tool and currently in maintenance mode, while Workbench is a powerful platform for CAD, meshing and multiphysics simulation. You can think of Gambit as a subset of Workbench.
Fluent and CFX are two different CFD software packages both belonging to the ANSYS family.
Yes Windows 8 is supported.
