My COMSOL EM simulations of plasmonic and dielectric nanoparticles do not seem to be correct. For instance, the optical spectra for 100 nm silica nanoparticle is a decay plot as expected. However as I am increasing the diameter, the scattering spectra is getting noisy in the low wavelength region. For 600 nanoparticle, which is larger than most of visible wavelength, the scattering spectra as well as the Electric field plot do seem to be correct even after implementation of larger domain (also PML) and finer mesh.

Are there any critical numerical parameters that I have to be careful about when I am simulating large nanoparticles of visible wavelength lenghtscale?
