We tried several, with different dilutions and pretreatments, but no results. Literature is full of rodent experiments, but data on post mortem human tissue is scarce. The paper describing VIP in human hippocampus (Lanerolle et al 1995) used an antibody that is no longer produced, or I could not find it.

I would be super grateful for any idea or suggestion. It is rather interesting. most VIP antibodies have not been reported to work on human brain (most of them seem to be tested for human reactivit on enteral tissue).
