I had read some articles on "unbalanced/differential insulation" on multiple circuits on one transmission tower.

Just queries whether these types of tower design do improve the transmission line performance as a whole? Is there any proven statistics or considerations on such a design philosophy?

Appreciate if there is any expert could share their experience or relevant reading material on this.
