To rescure virus, will it be created a influenza A virus if i replace a protein expressed in H9N2 with the counterpart in H7N9?
For example, i transfect HA, NA, NS, M, NP, PA, PB1 from H9N2 and PB2 from H7N9 into HEK-293T cells. Would influenza A virues be rescued?

If you only express the PB2 protein, virus will not be rescued. You need to provide the viral RNA as well as viral protein to rescue influenza virus. Viral proteins are usually driven by PolII, if I remember correctly, viral RNA is usually driven by PolI.
Just a reminder, this is kind of a gain-of-function study, which may be prohibited by some institutes.
