maybe the question has been here before, in which case, if anyone can provide a link to the thread I will be grateful. However, I'm curious about your experience with different ELISPOT readers on the market. I can obviously google the parameters and request a quote from the vendors, but no one can give me user feedback but users. What are your experiences with hardware and software on the reader you are using? Is it difficult to optimize the assay? Do some of them prefer only a particular brand of plates while others are more versatile? Is the interface user friendly and intuitive? What are the most common issues you run into?

For me, first of all, in IF readers, it is important to have an intuitive interface in the software

Alexandr, the machine you mention seems to have a different application than what I am looking for, however I agree it is always very helpful to have intuitive software.
Adam, CTL6 is one of the machines under the consideration. Though I hear the software is not straightforward at the beginning and can be pain to set up properly. However, once set up, it is pretty straightforward. Would you agree with this?
Veronika Chromikova , we have had no software issues. I've been using their machines for years, but my new people onboard quickly and easily with our relatively quick training. Their support people are very helpful too, when we've rarely gone to them with questions or issues. Ken Turocy, I believe, is the reader rep that we worked with when purchasing.

Don't know if you're still looking for an ELISpot reader, but in my opinion, the best ELISpot reader out there is Mabtech's ASTOR. They've made it super easy to read plates fast and accurately. Onboarding is a breeze compared to other instuments I've used. It's software is very intuitive and the best part is their customer support. They have loads of ready to use kits as well.
If you're looking for multiplexing, their FluoroSpot reader, IRIS is the way to go. Same easy to use software as the ASTOR with four colors. Have published two papers using their IRIS. It was SO much easier to use than the other reader I'd used previously.
