For most of the drugs, their target receptors are located on the cell membrane surface. While we encapsulate the drug inside the Nanoparticles, the drug-encapsulated Nanoparticle internalise in the cell and releases the drug in the cytoplasm. Ultimately the drug will not be available at its original site of action i.e. at the cell membrane receptors. How we will justify this ?
