I am working on a research project to investigate the metastatic propagation of cancer cells, so I need to see the metastasis of these cells in-vivo. Can any help me to find an appropriate and also the least expensive method?
Thank you so much for your excellent suggestion, but I want to find a way to confirm the metastatic spread into mice's body organs. Is there any method to look for and prove the presence of metastatic cells in animal organs?
For this, you should induce tumor by injecting cancer cells subcutaneously. Please choose appropriate cells (metastatic cancer) and animal model (Syngeneic or Xenograft). If nude mice facility is available than it'll be best. As tumor grow it will spread to different organs like lung or liver. after certain period of time you can sacrifice the mice and take out these organs. Tumor nodule you can count in stereozoom microscope or can go for tissue biopsy.
