I have completed the imaging process using chemiluminescence method and would want to preserve the blot for future reference. Can I just wrap and seal the blot and save in -20 degrees? Any inputs would be helpful.

You can stain it with amido black (protocol attached) and dry it. It is a convenient way to have your membrane stained as a normal PAGE and preserve it for as long as you want.
Hi Snena, I have not heard of a good way to store a membrane after imaging.
It is rare that anybody is called upon to re-image a blot that has already been imaged.
That being said, it is always a good idea to store the samples at -80oC that were used for that blot.....just in case.
Thank you very much for your suggestions! I have dried the membrane and stored them at -20 yesterday, and I can transfer them to -80 this week!
