Hi,

We recently purchased a Fluostar Omega plate reader and were taken through the installation and basic setup including the installed optics. I'm now trying to write an SOP with pictures of the current optic setup (see picture) but couldn't quite remember the purpose of the two thin black cables coming through the reagent box into the pink emission/red excitation slots- are they just the light guides for the uv/vis absorbance spectrophotometer or something else?
