I seeded 1 X 10^4 of SH-SY5Y on 96 well plate and grew them overnight.
For drug experiment, I removed all media using pipette and treated media mixed with drug. However, I found that some part of cells were gone compared to before media exchange.
I also used suction but it doesn't make any difference.
Any suggestions?
(SH-SY5Y doesn't make any trouble during grown on same 96 well plate)
Try a sterile syringe and place it on the edge of the media in the well, making the plate at approximately 45 degree curvature.

The SH-SY5Y cells grows both the mixture of adherent as well as floating cells. These neuroblastic cells grow in a clusters of multiple, short cell processes known as neurites. I support the suggestion of Dhifaf Zeki to try all the proper precaution and set the tip of pipette at the edge of each well and gently remove the media. As gently you pipette the consumed media more the SH-SY5Y cells remain in your culture plate and the result will be more accurate.
