Hello Everyone, I am doing oil red O assay, after I fix the cells with isopropanol. I want to normalize these results by staining the cells with Crystal Violet. Which solubilizer is better to solubilize the stain before measure the OD at 570nm? SDS 0,1%, Methanol, 10% acetic acid? Other products? Thanks!

I usually use 70% ethanol to elute crystal violet from bacterial biofilms in microtiter plates (~100uL/well). You can also elute the crystal violet with 30% acetic acid in dH2O. Hope that helps.
