This peptide is called MSG606 and it is a MC1R antagonist that works as a biased antagonist by decreasing cAMP production while activating ERK signalling.

My theory is that this peptide should decrease pigmentation in humans, such as melasma and hyperpigmentation.

Melanotan II is a MC1R agonist and it increases pigmentation so in theory, a MC1R antagonist should do the opposite.
