We recently upgraded to Shimadzu LabSolutions software and I have yet to be able to acquire any data. When I load my method and start everything, it lists "LC Ready" and "PDA Ready." However, as soon as I begin a run it switches the status of the PDA to "PDA Standby" and no data can be seen in real time analysis or in post run analysis. Any advice on how to fix this problem? All help is greatly appreciated!
Hello, check software configuration if everything true so.
First- mistake can be the adjustment of the run time. When writing the method, also the window of the PDA requires to fill in the LC run time. Second - cause of the problem could be the start signal. The PDA requires an external start signal from the autosampler or CBM. Make sure that a two core cable installed properly and check if the relay in the configuration window is set to "start".
Also PDA gives you an advantage of checking your data at variable wavelengths in the offline mode that means after running your sample you can get chromatogram at different wavelengths within the range you have fixed in PDA. So first fix the range & then run the sample and check the data.
