Im trying to grow up some BMDM to polarise them to M1/M2 using M-CSF.
How many cells should I suspend per ml of my BMDM media + M-CSF (were using 25ng/ml) and how many million cells would I expect to get from one mouse (2 femurs)

Hey Hannah,
With 2 femurs (one mouse) we usually have around 7,5.10^6 bone marrow cells.
I suspend the cells at a density of 1.10^6 c/mL in a total volume of 5ML (media + m-csf). So at day 0 with 5.10^6 cells total, i obtain around 1.10^7 cells at day 9.
