I have done Scanning Electron Microscopy ( SEM) for fruit surface (horizontally) at fully ripened stage. in which i have seen the following images

(A) Hole like structure (B)Thread like structure

Q:1 What is scientifically term should use for above mentioned ?

Q:2 How to explain scientifically?

Q: 3 While doing SEM for fruit surface (peel) of two different fruit cultivars, what should find and explain ?
