You can go for both morphology and molecular method. For morphology, you can do as suggested by Marta and observe the spores and spore bearing structure under microscope.

For molecular method, you can try to amplify ITS region for identification using general ITS primers, or you can search for specific primers for those that you identify using microscopic method

I agree with Wong Ling Chie and to add to that you can extract DNA or RNA by either CTAB or Trizol extraction, respectively.
