Hi

I'm trying to simulate the flow of water over an ogee spillway in Fluent. My problem is that I'm getting reversed flow on my pressure outlets. I am aware that it might not affect significantly my results but it slows down convergence, which is a problem for me. My settings are the following:

- Pressure-Based Solver

- Transient Simulation

- Gravity: 9.81 m/s2

- VOF Model with Open Channel Flow, Implicity Formulation and Implicity Body Force

- Phases: Water and Air

- K-omega SST turbulence model

- Inlet boundary: Velocity Inlet

- Outlet boundary: Pressure Outlet with Neibouring Cell Pressure Specification

- Atmospheric boundary: Pressure Outlet with gauge pressure = 0

- Operating Pressure = 0 at a point in the atmospheric boundary

At the beginning of the simulation the reversed flow is only on the atmospheric boundary and as the simulation progresses both atmospheric and outlet boundaries get reversed flow. How can I solve or minimize this problem?
