I have data of 463 respondents. In SPSS correlation and regression is significant. But conducting Path analysis in AMOS results are insignificant, specially project governance is insignificant with project success and organizational culture is insignificant with project success. Moreover, literature endorses that project governance has positive significant impact on project success.
Please guide me causes and reasons of such variation. I am in a learning process could not figure out the causes. SPSS correlation and regression screenshot attached. AMOS output screenshot also attached for reference.
It is difficult to make a guess without seeing the full path model and understanding how it related to your regression/correlation analysis. To me, it almost looks like there may be data errors since some of the path coefficients are so different in magnitude from the multiple regression coefficients and since some of the path coefficients appear to have abnormally large standard errors. Are you sure AMOS is processing your data file correctly? Another reason may be severe model misspecification in the path model.
I am new to this but several things stand out . The regression in AMOS is not the standardized regression coefficients, BETA. 2 The formation of composite latent constructs is needed to do the analysis in SPSS which must be standardized to take care of multicollinearity . Did you check this on your data . 3. The process's of creating a mean composite variable losses information that was associated with the error terms in the SEM . Cant compare the two .
