This question was about my scientific software paper on COVID. So, I deleted the description. I have added a response that tells you I withdrew the paper and published it in another journal. Thanks.
Withdrawal of paper is possible if the journal is legitimate. But in case it is a predatory journal, they may not take it down. Its totally depend on publication policy of journal so better to send request to editor of that journal. The corresponding author already agreed to the terms and conditions of the journal. In some times if any data-related issues were observed later, the corresponding author can intimate these details to the journal editor and you can ask for the withdrawal. Other conditions like journal impact, indexing and similar related issues are not a genuine reason. It can invite legal issues also.

Let me understand: you voluntarily sent an article to a magazine; have agreed to publish it, subject to the payment you have made; have you signed the relative releases and only now do you notice "possible damages" against you?
I resolved the issue with the journal and published it: Besong, DO. Online cheating in the registration of unsupervised rapid antigen test results. Int J Biomed Healthc Sci. 2022;12(1):1-12. https://www.ripublication.com/ijbhs22/ijbhsv12n1_01.pdf
I followed up with another ground-breaking paper published by Cambridge University Press: Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness, Volume 17, 2023, e260

Contact any organisation mentioned in the latter publication for funding and collaboration toward its implementation. Anyone with the resources to implement can ask me for guidance, and I will gladly share my Python code for the prototype.
