Hello everyone,
I'm trying to measure the porosity of 3D printed composite of cellulose microfibers and graphene.
I found low value (around 'à to 60%). When I try to measure it using water instead of ethanol I found higher values is it possible to measure the porosity using the water instead of the ethanol?

Dear Myriam,
I think any solvent can be used which properly wets the composite. The differences between your results with water and ethanol may be due to the smaller size of the water molecules compared to ethanol. It should be only significant difference when you have quite small pore sizes in your sample.
