Hi everyone!

I am planning to do an experiment of transepithelial migration of monocytes (THP-1), and derived cells (monocytes-derived macrophages and dendritic cells), through an air-blood barrier (alveolar epithelial cells and microvascular endothelial cells).

I saw that neutrophils can be quantified via the myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity assay. Do you know if it also works for monocytes, or do you know a similar assay?
