I'm getting 2 very messy peaks on my qPCR melt curve. The melt temp ranges from 82-89, so not a massive difference, but definitely enough so that it's not a nice clean single peak. Does anyone have any idea if there's a rough correlation between melt temp and amplicon size? I know GC content will have a lot to do with it among other things....just wondering if this is indicating a difference in size of say 2 bp or 20bp or more. If it's only a small difference, then I may not care! Have also run products on agarose and can visualize only one band. Pic of my melt curve is below!
