In equilibrium denaturation experiments, the concentration of urea at mid-point of denaturation is always higher than that of GdnHCl for any given protein. What is the reason for this? How are they related? If they are related, what is the correlation coefficient? If one value is known for any protein (say for example, that of Urea) is it possible to predict that of the other (say, that of GdnHCl)?
