Hi, I work with primary culture cells from the periodontal ligament and I'm having difficulty getting them to stick to the bottom of the well so they can propagate. What can I do to make them more adhering?
You could also coat the plates yourself using gelatin, collagen, biolaminin or what ever extra-cellular matrix components are most appropriate to your periodontal ligament tissue.
It's also worth checking the viability of your cells on a haemocytometer, as dead cells won't adhere.
