Hello everyone, I am trying to use the new type of reaction present in Aspen plus V14, known as "pyrolysis."
I have tried to simulate pyrolysis of HDPE, by entering the kinetics suggested by Aspen plus Help, but still I always encounter errors, or if the program runs, I get in output products with a yield in the order of 10^(-30).
In particular, once I get the reaction going, the following errors I encounter:
****PROPERTY PARAMETER ERROR ERRORS ENCOUNTERED IN CALCULATION OF VAPOR-LIQUID K-VALUES USING OPTION SET POLYNRTL FOR KVL.
** ERROR
RPLUG EXITED BECAUSE INTEGRATION FAILED. INDEX = (-9)
PROBABLE CAUSE IS INCORRECT KINETICS. CHECK RATE-CON
PARAMETERS AND MOLAR VOLUME CALCULATIONS.
