This is a personal question, not related to my research. I am looking for a study on depression or anything else on people with the heterogeneous or homogeneous MTHFR C677T T mutation that includes all of the following test subjects;

1. People who supplement with Folic acid.

2. People who supplement with 5-L-Methylfolate, but don’t try to avoid folic acid.

AND

3. People who supplement with 5-L-Methylfolate and take NO folic acid, including removing it from their diet.

I am not interested in just 1 or 2 or a comparison between 1 & 2.

I have a great pharmacist who insisted I do 3, or the 5-L-Methylfolate won’t do much.

This would explain a lot of conflicting research papers that only include the first 2, but I am looking for someone to guide me to research that includes #3.
