I have provided picture of the fungal growth on sabouraud agar, and its reverse morphology, also the staining using lactophenol cotton blue (LPCB). Please note that there was a contamination of a potential Penicillium sp. (green) by the side.
The culture is contaminated with another fungus probably a Penicillium. The photomicrographs have hyphae and spores but no origin of the spores.. In fungal identification the origin of the spore is important. Both fungi may belong to Penicillium. Note that noted mycologist Blakeslee said that something nonsense will come out if you examine contaminated cultures. Czapek agar is used to study Penicillium identification. Purify the culture and study. That will be an useful examination.
