I have provided picture of the fungal growth on sabouraud agar, and its reverse morphology, also the staining using lactophenol cotton blue (LPCB). Because of the green growth, we are thinking that this might be Penicillium sp. Is it correct?
The culture is pure. This is Penicillium belonging to Monoverticillate group. It may be a strain of Penicillium frequentans. Study the culture on Czapek agar and see whether the conidiophore is branched. Compare with Penicillium frequentans. Mind that difficulties in research are starting points for new discoveries.
