I would says that depends on the drug prescribed. Some have prevalent adverse effect and I specially have a look to them (asking the patients, blood samples...), but all type of adverse event have to be cued.
Didi you have a specific drug in mind ?
In France, we can saw references in package insert, Vidal ressource... and we can ask to the regional pharmacovigilance center or ANSM (National Security Agency of Health Products).
