Hello,

I am trying to grow the physarum polycephalum for some experiments. In the beginning it grows well, but after some days there is some mold in it and I dont know how to get rid of this mold or how to prevent getting mold in my Petri dish with physarum polycephalum.

I work in sterile conditions in a flow cabinet

I use sterile petridishes with autoclaved Kobe agar

I use oatflakes, which are baked at 180 degrees Celsius

And I use distilled water to prevent the physarum polycephalum from drying out.

Does someone has tips? Or a protocol how you normally grow physarum polycephalum?
