I am seeking a PhD position to further my research on antimicrobial resistance. I recently completed my postgraduate master's program in Biotechnology (Medical) at the Federal University of Technology Owerri in Nigeria with a postgraduate thesis focused on detecting Antimicrobial Resistant (AMR) genes (blaCTX-M, blaTEM, and blaSHV) among clinical isolates of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumonia.

With about five (5) years’ experience involving infectious biological samples such as COVID-19 and Antimicrobial Resistant (AMR) bacteria, I have gained research and analytical skills involving several health systems in Africa and across the world. My molecular wet lab experience include: Nucleic acid extraction, purification and quantification, DNA fingerprinting with Gel electrophoresis, among others.

I am open to studying at any part of the world. Attached is my resume
