As an academic of the Open University of Sri Lanka, the faculty of education able to manage the challenges related to pedagogical transition. We have adopted multiple ways of communication. Especially through the online courses, we are able to continue our academic activities. But we have faced some challenges to get all the students involvement.
Thank you for your feedback. We found it challenging at times as we did not have online classes set up prior to March. My university struggled but at least we already had BBL and it was relatively easy to switch to MS Teams for the online classes.

Here in Zimbabwe our main challenge is the economic one, neither lecturers not students can afford to participate online. Databundles are out of reach for nearly everyone.
Even here in Ras Al Khaimah, some students did not have laptops or internet in their homes or unstable internet connection or sharing one laptop with the entire household as some of my students are married women with children. RAK Tourism for k-12 students roudne duop donated laptops and i_pads and got internet hooked up in poorer homes but this all took time.
