Hi Zeeshan - you appear to be stating the same thing here. Accurate paraphrasing is the same as 'rewriting'. Paraphrasing is the art of 'reconstructing' what has already been written. It requires 'restating' written text in a different version to the original but without changing the 'context' of the original. Let's take Charles Dickens as an example. His original prose is often articulate (and of another era) and often cannot be replicated without direct quotation. A researcher is then left with a choice - either direct quotation or 're-interpretation' (para-phrasing). Either 'I was born' (direct quotation) or 'Dickens (year) states that the character reflects on the fact that they remember the day that they were born'. The original statement is not directly copied - yet the context remains the same.

What you have stated are ways of documenting resources expressed by others using different words for attaining the intended message with greater clarity. However, for writing introductions and review of the literature we should use bibliography cards. The following links can hopefully provide you with more information.
Re-writing that you are looking from the original sources and progress according to writing, either redrafting is the same idea, but in your own style Greetings
Introduction section should be written critically as it presents your research problems and objectives, it is better to write it by your own words. Unlike Literature Review section which summarizes only the previous studies, I think there will be no problem for paraphrasing, easier way and shorter time than self-writing.
The background and/or introduction should be structured in a way that it should flow like a story and problem under discussion. However, as per my experience and humble opinion, the literature should be structured theme-wise, it should be conceptual/theoretical review and empirical review. The relationships among variables in prior studies should be discussed under empirical review of literature. Summarizing each article in one paragraph is not an appealing way to write literature review. Actually, what is required is a critical synthesis of existing literature on a particular issue.
The introduction should discuss the problem or the issue with its significance. Critical review of literature is required for publishing in good journals. The presentation of only summaries of articles is not an appealing way to literature review.
You have to download or search the literature which you want to include in your research. From there you have to study and then like the definition which may called operational definition in originator words. Then you have to include the portion which is your requirement or topic related. You may divide like old and new research in the specified area.
Here are some blog articles that you might find useful.
Following blogs provides information on how to write the introduction and literature review sections of a research paper along with some useful phrases.
Paraphrasing simply means changing the words remaining the same meaning of the sentences. where Rewriting means change the sentence by keeping other person's mind right.
Paraphrase: Generally to shorten the sentence (paragraph, etectera) but keep the general idea. To exclude extra information.
This is really big in speech because it takes out the little, unneeded bits of information
EXAMPLE
Sally said John went to the shops to buy bread, milk, eggs, lettuce, rice.
PARAPHRASED: Sally said John went to the shops to buy some stuff.
Rewrite:
To rewrite is to completely change something. To "delete and then write again". The lines are kind of blurry here because paraphrasing is a type of rewriting.
EXAMPLE
Last Saturday, Sally went to the shop with John to buy some bread.
REWRITTEN
Poppy and Sam went to beach last Saturday because they love the ocean.
