Am working on my thesis involving organic rankine cycle (ORC) modelling. I aimed at using simulink in building the model, but am finding it difficult to assemble blocks in Simulink that would give the desired model. I want to ask if its possible to use Simulink for ORC modelling. Thanks

Conceptually if you have a complete mathematical model of your system, then you can simulate it directly using m-files. You can also build the simulation model in a structured functional blocks using Simulink but it may require more effort for building. A benefit is that you can be used further in converting the simulink model into a C-model or a VHDL model using compilers.
