I'm looking for an efficient and easy way to tattoo my neonatal mice and found the FST micro tattoo system. Looks easier than the regular tattoo machines, but is it worth it?

I don't need to make numbers, just dots so I can identify the animals on a litter after genotyping. Tried the ear punch system, but keep getting confused with the marks when they grow.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
