The normal platelet count in humans is 150,000-400,000 per uL of blood. Can anybody tell me what is the normal platelet cell count in mice? Does mice suppose to have higher platelet count/uL of blood compared to human? I will appreciate if you could provide the reference for the same
If you read this you see that on the murine level the platelet count varies.

Platelet counts in blood from mice of several strains and different ages is that average values for groups of normal mice are almost invariably greater than 1,000,000 platelet/µl. Recent reports also reported low count too; Average values of 450,000 to 470,000 /µL were reported
